Over the years we have seen some innovative ways employers use CareerHub Central to post single and multiple jobs via one advertisement.
Recently we were asked, if posting several job positions under the one job advertisement heading, is it possible to set multiple closing dates.
The answer is no.
The functionality of CareerHub Central does not support such an action.
The workaround is this:
If you are using CareerHub Central economically to post jobs and you advertise more than one job in the same advertisement, you can only set one opening date and one closing date.
To make sure you don’t create confusion, state clearly within the details of that advertisement that there are multiple roles and, with those, clearly state each closing date as body copy.
Remember, too, if you do set a closing date far into the future (which normally happens when trying to accommodate closing dates for a number of roles, your advertisement will gradually get pushed out of view as new jobs are posted with more imminent closing dates, so it is worth weighing up whether being economical on job posting fees outweighs posting separate job advertisements ie one ad for each separate role.
